Joseph F. Greenidge, Jr.

Joseph F. Greenidge, Jr. has literally worked at Greenidge Funeral Home since he was in short pants. As a toddler, he was a greeter during funerals ensuring that visitors signed the guest book. Now more than 45 years later, he is the Vice President of Greenidge Funeral Homes, Inc. and a New Jersey licensed funeral director. His areas of responsibility include: office operations, technology and vendor relations. 

In the Fall of 2012, he became a New Jersey Licensed Funeral Director. Though for more than 20 years Joe was away from Atlantic City working in as a global corporate events manager for BellSouth, Coca-Cola and Nike, he has always maintained an interest and a hand in the family’s business. 

After living and working in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Portland, Oregon Joe returned to Atlantic City in 2005, to devote his energies and learning’s from corporate America to help fast-track Greenidge Funeral Home’s advancement into the 21st Century.


Kerry Hall
Funeral Director, N.J. Lic. No. 4369

Kerry Hall is a licensed New Jersey funeral director since 1999. Mr. Hall was born in Bridgeton, NJ to Ronald and Kathy Bailey Hall, his early interest in funeral services was sparked by his late cousin, Hildreth Lively, who owned, Lively Funeral Homes in Bridgeton, Cape May Court House, and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Kerry is a 1994 graduate of Cumberland Regional High School. He is also a graduate of Mercer County Community College in 1998, from where he earned two Associates Degrees in Funeral Service Education and Business Administration. 

In 1999, Kerry was licensed by the New Jersey State Board as a Practitioner of Mortuary Science – Funeral Director. He has worked as a funeral director at various funeral homes in Cumberland, Salem and Camden counties for more than 15 years. 

Kerry says, “I take great pride in providing a professional and meaningful service to all families regardless of faith, nationality and race. I believe that everyone is in need of some type of dignified ceremony. It’s a major step in the healing process.”


Joya C. Banks

​Office Administrator  

An Atlantic City native, Joya, is a graduate of Virginia State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. As a child, Joya had a fascination with death. After completing college, she decided that she wanted to further her education in funeral services. She is presently an office assistant for the funeral home. Joya believes that her involvement in the funeral business is a gift from God to her and she hopes her works are God’s gift to others.
